Climbing Meet-up and Clinic

from $20.00

Yoga for Climbers is partnering up with the Queer Climbers Network led by Cat Runner for a weekend of outdoor climbing in the Red River Gorge.

Meet up with us for one day or two days of climbing. This meetup is perfect for climbers who are experienced rope climbers but are new to the outdoors, short on gear, or just need a community to climb with!

Day 1: Easy and moderate climbs with the max grade difficulty of 5.10a. “Rope Guns” (a.k.a experienced climbers who can set up and clean top rope routes for others) will be present to monitor safety and offer some hype.

Day 2: Intermediate and advanced climbs between 5.10 and up! Top rope belay experience is required. Lead climbing experience suggested

About Cat

Cat Runner (he/him) is a trans climber, sponsored Prana athlete, winner of HBO’s competition show, The Climb, and photographer from Kentucky. Though Cat has been climbing for as long as he can remember, he was introduced to organized rock climbing at age 7. As an adult, Cat switched to a more serious approach and began climbing regularly, predominantly through bouldering. Today, Cat mainly focuses on bouldering and sport climbing but won’t turn away opportunities to learn and explore other disciplines. He’s climbed all over the world but still has a soft spot for his home crag, the Red River Gorge.
